BELGRADE: An attacker who fired a crossbow at a police officer guarding the Israeli embassy in Belgrade was shot lifeless on Saturday (Jun 29) in what President Aleksandar Vucic known as a terrorist assault towards Serbia.

No embassy workers have been wounded within the assault, the Israeli international ministry mentioned, and the policeman was in a secure situation in hospital following surgical procedure to take away an arrow from his neck, Vucic mentioned.

Vucic named the attacker as Salahudin Zujovic, a person from central Serbia who had transformed to Islam from Serbian Orthodox Christianity, and mentioned he had labored with an confederate who remained at giant.

“We’re on the lookout for one other individual,” Vucic informed reporters after visiting the wounded policeman. “We are going to safe all diplomatic missions and in addition assure security and safety”.
