BET+ has renewed its freshman collection Diarra From Detroit for a second season from creator, govt producer, author, and star Diarra Kilpatrick. Bryan Terrell Clark, DomiNque Perry, and Jon Chaffin are confirmed to return as collection regulars.
Season 1 adopted Diarra (Kilpatrick), a divorcing schoolteacher who refuses to imagine she’s been ghosted by her rebound Tinder date. Her decided search leads her right into a decades-old thriller rooted within the Detroit underworld. Because the case deepens, she enlists the assistance of her coworkers, associates, and lovers, forming an unlikely crew navigating hazard and secrets and techniques.
