AMC Networks has set a summer time premiere date for the Krysten Ritter-led Orphan Black: Echoes, an authentic sequence set on this planet of Orphan Black. The spinoff will premiere Sunday, June 23 on AMC, AMC+ and BBC America.

Created by Anna Fishko, set within the close to future, Orphan Black: Echoes takes a deep dive into the exploration of the scientific manipulation of human existence. It follows a gaggle of girls as they weave their means into one another’s lives and embark on an exciting journey, unravelling the thriller of their id and uncovering a wrenching story of affection and betrayal. Ritter performs Lucy, a lady with an unimaginable origin story, looking for her place on this planet.

Fishko serves as creator, author, showrunner and government producer with authentic sequence co-creator John Fawcett as director and government producer.
