To the editor: Michael Schneider’s argument towards freeway widening in L.A. County on local weather change grounds misses a bigger level.
Whether or not or not California meets its local weather targets is not going to make a penny’s value of distinction to the local weather. California has been “battling” international warming for a couple of technology and has nothing to point out for it besides file warmth and file hearth. California’s obsession with local weather change has produced no profit and has not accomplished squat for the local weather.
It’s time to acknowledge California’s “warfare” on local weather change as what it’s — a warfare on the center class.
