As reported earlier, an American Airways flight carrying roughly 60 souls collided with a Blackhawk helicopter close to Washington D.C. Reagan Nationwide Airport (DCA).

The helicopter and airplane collided over the Potomac.

In keeping with CNN there are confirmed fatalities. Rescuers haven’t pulled any survivors from the water.

All flights had been cancelled following the devastating crash.
