Being the son of arguably the best receiver of all-time, USC wideout Brenden Rice has had massive sneakers to fill his complete life.

And a little bit over two months away from probably being drafted, Rice is A-OK if he’s picked by his father’s former workforce the San Francisco 49ers, even when which means taking part in within the shadow of his 12-time All-Professional dad.

“If the 49ers are the right state of affairs for me to go forward and battle for a prime place on that workforce, then most positively [I’m OK following in my father’s footsteps],” Rice instructed NBC Sports activities Bay Space. “I’m ready for it.”

Rice admitted a few of his favourite gamers to observe play in San Francisco, together with quarterback Brock Purdy, working again Christian McCaffrey, receivers Brandon Aiyuk and Deebo Samuel and offensive deal with Trent Williams.

Whereas no one probably expects Rice to reside as much as his father’s Corridor of Fame resume, there’s no query he’ll be repeatedly in comparison with his dad if he lands with the 49ers.

In 16 seasons with the 49ers, the senior Rice totaled 1,281 receptions, 19,247 yards and 176 touchdowns with 10 first-team All-Professional picks, 12 Professional Bowl picks, two NFL Offensive Participant of the 12 months awards and three Tremendous Bowl championships.
