To the editor: I agree broadly with Barabak’s evaluation that Newsom has a whole lot of baggage in a possible POTUS run. Mockingly, I imagine one issue in opposition to Newsom is that he’s from the perfect state within the union, which engenders a substantial amount of animosity in about 40 different states.
