Bob Myers, the architect of the Warriors dynasty that gained 4 championships between 2015 and 2022, may quickly be returning to a front-office place within the NBA.
In response to The Ringer’s Invoice Simmons, there’s a robust chance of Myers changing Daryl Morey because the 76ers’ subsequent president of basketball operations, given his shut ties with franchise proprietor Josh Harris.
“You already know Bob Myers helped Washington [Commanders] with the soccer group, proper? He was on that advisory committee, and I simply really feel like he is looming with this Sixers factor,” Simmons stated Friday on his podcast (h/t Crossing Broad). “There’s been some Bob Myers Philly buzz that I feel has been constructing as a result of I feel he had a very good expertise with Josh Harris. If there’s a fall man, which we talked about earlier, it’s going to be Nick Nurse and Daryl Morey.”
