A Russian navy transport aircraft has crashed within the Belgorod area, near the border with Ukraine, in accordance with Russian state media citing the defence ministry.
The defence ministry confirmed to the RIA information company {that a} Ilyushin Il-76 had come down within the area, which has been recurrently focused in current weeks by Ukrainian missile and drone assaults.
Video posted on the Telegram messenger app by Baza, a channel linked to Russian safety companies, confirmed a big plane falling in direction of the bottom and exploding in an enormous fireball.
Regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov mentioned on social media that he had altered his schedule because of an “incident” and that investigators and emergency staff had already arrived at a web site within the Korochansky district.
The Kremlin instructed reporters that it was investigating the reviews.
