Barbie, Saltburn and The Banshees of Inisherin are among the many nominees on the UK’s sixth CDG Casting Awards.

Lucy Bevan, Olivia Grant (affiliate), Lucy Downes (assistant) are nominated in Greatest Casting in a Movie for Barbie, with Kharmel Cochrane (Saltburn), Louise Kiley (Banshees of Inisherin), Kahleen Crawford, Carla Morris & Eliza Heslop (All of Us Strangers) and Jessie Frost (Triangle of Unhappiness) offering the competitors.

Within the Greatest Casting in a TV Drama Sequence class, Nina Gold is nominated thrice, for Andor Seasons 1, 2 and three, competing towards Shaheen Baig, Jonny Boutwood and Carolyn McLeod for Boiling Level and Robert Sterne and Kate Bone for The Crown.

Within the TV Comedy class, Heather Basten, casting execs for Dreaming While Black, Extraordinary, Motherland, Intercourse Training Season 4 and Ted Lasso Season 3 are up for awards. Within the Restricted or Single Sequence race are casting execs from A Small Mild, Black Mirror Season 6, Someplace Boy, The Lengthy Shadow and Time Season 2.

These competing within the Greatest Casting in Theatre class embody nominees from A Little Life, A Streetcar Named Need, Expensive England, My Neighbor Totoro and The Motive and The Cue.

Nominated productions premiered between September 1 2022 and December 31 2023, and have been chosen by members of the Casting Administrators’ Guild. The awards, which have a good time casting groups in movie, tv, theatre and commercials, will probably be held on February 21.

The Casting Administrators’ Guild runs the awards in partnership with Highlight.
