SINGAPORE: Tasmania’s authorities is in talks with Singapore Airways (SIA) and Cathay Pacific to determine direct flights between the Australian state and Asia. 

“With the upgrades at Hobart Airport, we’re working to lock in direct flight routes between Hobart and Asia,” stated Tasmanian Premier Jeremy Rockliff in a Fb submit on Monday (Nov 18).
