To the editor: If former Dodgers nice Steve Garvey loses within the election for U.S. senator from California subsequent week, it won’t be as a result of he’s a Republican in a Democratic state. I’ll give him credit score for being a mini-Trump. It appears he has executed poorly in enterprise, and his reward for robust immigration ways signifies he’s unaware of the devastating impact mass deportation would have on Coachella Valley residents and companies, a lot much less the California and nationwide economies.
It doesn’t matter what celebration somebody like Garvey registers in; he has no enterprise operating for the Senate. He’s incomes this loss.

To the editor: Even along with his identify recognition, Garvey should have realized from the beginning that he was doomed to lose the Senate race.
