To the editor: One letter author claims that Vice President Kamala Harris misplaced the election as a result of the Democrats weren’t clear-eyed in regards to the occasion’s failings and Harris’ “shortcomings.” (“The chief of the Democratic Social gathering? Not Kamala Harris,” letters, Dec. 23)

One other claims that almost all of voters didn’t need Harris to win as a result of they wished somebody “who would reply to a query in fewer than 500 phrases.” Does that author suppose President-elect Donald Trump responds to any query in fewer than hundreds of phrases that don’t have any context and don’t type full sentences?

It’s not that People didn’t need a Black lady for president. Somewhat, it seems that Trump voters want a would-be dictator who will enable them to point out their true colours, they usually love him for that.

What a tragic commentary on our present and future civilization.
