Far left New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, has misplaced her bid to be the highest canine on the Home Oversight Committee.

There have been rumors swirling round Washington that former Home Speaker Nancy Pelosi was working behind the scenes to tank AOC’s bid, however Pelosi has been busy abroad coping with a damaged hip after a nasty fall.

Including insult to AOC’s harm, she not solely misplaced this race, she misplaced massive, bested by Rep. Gerry Connolly of Virginia.

Progressive Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., was defeated in her bid to be the highest Democrat on the Home Oversight Committee, shedding to Rep. Gerry Connolly of Virginia.

Connolly, 74, bested the 35-year-old Ocasio-Cortez with 131 to 84 votes in what’s seen as a blow for progressives who backed Ocasio-Cortez, a member of the progressive “Squad.”

“I thank my colleagues for his or her help and the arrogance they’ve positioned in me to steer Home Democrats on the Oversight Committee,” Connolly mentioned in an announcement after being elected by the Home Democratic Caucus.

Connolly referred to as out “the Republican playbook,” by which he accused Republicans of utilizing “debunked conspiracy theories” and enabling “the worst abuses of the Trump Administration.”

Isn’t it hilarious when Democrats accuse Republicans of pushing conspiracy theories after pushing the Russia collusion hoax for years?

Connolly isn’t significantly better than AOC however this contest was a humiliation for her.
